Written by Johnny Marks Have a holly jolly Christmas It's the best time of the year I don't know if there'll be snow But have a cup of cheer Have a holly jolly Christmas And when you walk down the street Say hello to friends you know And everyone you meet Oh-ho the mistletoe Hung where you can see Somebody waits for you Kiss her once for me Have a holly jolly Christmas And in case you didn't hear Oh by golly have a holly jolly Chistmas this year!

Written by Bobby Winstead Under the mistletoe, that's where I'd like to be Under the mistletoe, with you standing there with me When it's Christmastime I'll be first in line And I sure hope you grant my plea 'Cause you're the only one I want Standing under the mistletoe with me I've been good all year, and I'm quite sincere When I say there's none but you So I won't be late when we reach the date For our yuletide rendezvous When it's Christmastime I'll be first in line And I sure hope you grant my plea 'Cause you're the only one I want Standing under the mistletoe with me Under the mistletoe won't you kiss me if you please? Under the mistletoe, I don't care if everyone sees When you say OK I will run your way Just as quick as one, two, three 'Cause you're the only one I want Standing under the mistletoe with me I've been good all year, and I'm quite sincere When I say there's none but you So I won't be late when we reach the date For our yuletide rendezvous When it's Christmastime I'll be first in line And I sure hope you grant my plea 'Cause you're the only one I want Standing under the mistletoe with me

Written by Bobby Winstead When we gather 'round at Christmastime I hope you're here with me Drinking coffee by the fireside And putting presents under the tree We'll hear the choir sing on the radio And meet a time or two 'neath the mistletoe As merry as can be, darling you and me When you're here for Christmastime And when old Saint Nick down the chimney climbs We’ll be snug and warm as can be And on Christmas Day we’ll find our stockings full One for you and one for me Then out into the cold, fresh fallen snow With everyone all bundled up we’ll go With friends and family, darling you and me When you’re here for Christmastime When we gather ‘round at Christmastime I hope you’re there with me Telling stories by the fireside And singing carols in harmony. Please don’t go off into the cold, cold night We can stay right here and hold each other tight As merry as can be, darling you and me When you’re here for Christmastime

Written by Gene Autry and Oakley Haldeman He's a chubby little fellow with a long white beard And he brings us Christmas cheer He's a ruddly little fellow with a bright red coat And a sleigh with eight reindeer He's a happy little fellow with a pack on his back And a smile that shines so bright He's the jolly little fellow called Santa Claus Who'll be 'round on Christmas Eve night He's a chubby little fellow with a long white beard And he comes from far away He's been working all year Just to try to make you happy on Christmas Day If all you kiddies will try your best To do everything just right Then the jolly little fellow called Santa Claus Will be 'round on Christmas Eve night He's a chubby little fellow with a long white beard And a laugh that rings with cheer He's a hardy little fellow with a twinkle in his eye That we love to see each year If you hang up your stockings And you’re quiet as mouse and be sure to turn off the light Then the jolly little fellow called Santa Claus Will be 'round on Christmas Eve night He's a chubby little fellow with a long white beard And he loves all the girls and boys And he never cares if you're rich or poor He'll bring you lots of toys So if you're good to your mom and dad And say your prayers each night Then the jolly little fellow called Santa Claus Will be 'round on Christmas Eve night

Written by Bobby Winstead I'll write a letter to Santa And he knows that I've been good I did all that she wanted Everything that I should But she's gone and I don't know What to do to make it right So dear Santa, there's just one thing On my wishlist tonight CHORUS: Dear Santa please bring back my baby You might know where she went, and just maybe You will see her and ask her to come home I don't want to spend this Christmas alone I'll write a letter to Santa And I know just what I'll say First I'll ask him about you And if you're doing OK Then I'll tell him to bring you Everything you're wishing for But I hope that you'll miss me And come back through that door

Written by Bobby Winstead They say Santa lives at the ol' North Pole And he works all year getting ready to go Then on Christmas Eve he's a one-man show He does it all in one night CHORUS: He does it all in one night He does it all in one night All around the whole world to every boy and girl He does it all in one night He flies to the north, south, east, and west All around the world while the children rest When it comes to Christmas he's the very best He does it all in one night Santa packs up his sleigh full of lots of toys To give to the good little girls and boys And to each child he brings Christmas joy And does it all in one night He has a workshop with elves working night and day And eight tiny reindeer to pull his sleigh So get ready, 'cause Santa is heading your way He does it all in one night ALT CHORUS He does it all in one night He does it all in one night He does it year after year bringing Christmas cheer He does it all in one night

Written by Bobby Winstead O Holy night, the stars are shining bright A very special night, it's Christmas Let the choir sing the story of the king That first night in old Bethlehem When Mary found the inn had no room left within She made her bed inside the stable And when the child was born in the wee hours of the morn The manger was his only cradle In this humble place, they passed the night away With the king of kings, lying in the hay They kept him warm until the break of day And say the shepherds come O Holy night, the stars are shining bright A very special night, it's Christmas Let the choir sing the story of the king That first night in old Bethlehem On the first Noel, the angel came to tell The shepherds in the fields there dwelling They watched their flock by night and saw a heavenly light As the angel appeared to them and said. Fear not I have good news, great joy to you I bring For unto you is born a savior And you will know it’s he when you find Christ the King A babe wrapped and lying in a manger. Then a multitude of the heavenly host Sang Glory to God and peace on earth. The shepherds saw the light, and heard the tidings told And went away the child to behold Just as the angel said, with a manger for his bed They saw the holy child with Mary They told it far and wide, the wonders they had seen That led them that night to the king. O Holy night, the stars are shining bright A very special night, it's Christmas Let the choir sing the story of the king That first night in old Bethlehem

Written by Bobby Winstead It's Christmastime, time for singing and bells to chime It's Christmastime, time for laughter and lights to shine Everywhere we go, stars are shining and trees aglow It's Christmastime, the merriest time I know. So deck the halls, boughs of holly and mistletoe And let it snow since we’ve no other place to go With a Ho Ho Ho! Santa is coming from the ol’ North Pole On Christmas Eve across the sky he’ll go And you hear those sleigh bells ringing, jingle bells jingling Ring ting tingling, everyone singing "Peace on Earth" "Merry Christmas" too "Joy to everyone the whole year through!" It's Christmastime, time for singing and bells to chime It's Christmastime, time for laughter and lights to shine Everywhere we go, stars are shining and trees aglow It's Christmastime, the merriest time I know. Silver bells, hear them ring as we sing Noel Spreading joy, peace on Earth and to all goodwill With loved ones dear it’s delightful by the fire’s glow It’s Christmastime, the merriest time I know

Written by Bobby Winstead Sharing joy with loved ones on Christmas Wishing well for what lies ahead Songs we sing around the tree All golden, green and red This Christmas and all year through May you have joy coming to you Hand in hand as the music plays We'll dance to the Christmas Waltz When the sun gets low in the evening With our voices many and strong Once again we’ll dance and sing And share this joy all year long.

about

This album is dedicated to Murlyne, my mom. The original songs were written between December 2017 and May 2018, and were recorded just a few days after her passing in June 2018. She had heard demos of the songs and was excited about this record. She was great at making Christmas a bright and uplifting time, and I hope this album helps make your Christmas that way. Merry Christmas, everybody!
